Quirky worlds made of unconventional materials are
Ms Suganuma's specialty. The strong appeal of materials
themselves and a sculptural presence are formed as a
result of her artistic struggle; a thorough trail and
error process in order to three-dimensionally crystallize
her imagination into reality. Whether in the two dimensional
or three dimensional realm, her Illustrations promise
to entertain audiences, and this she feels, is the primarily
goal of commercial Illustration. Her works have appeared
in various advertising campaigns and on television programs.
