HIRO-SHI
B.F.A., The Cooper Union School of Art, New York, NY

Acclaimed as an eminent art director working in New York and Tokyo, for the past decade Mr. HIRO-SHI has collaborated with several high-profile international clients from all industries. His new endeavor as a visual artist has already begun on a successful path. "There is no need to hold on to a specific medium or material, no need to categorize styles of visual art, much less the method of making it. No matter what it takes to make it, photographs or Illustrations, visual art should communicate," he says. With this philosophy, Mr. HIRO-SHI wants to craft visual art rather than design it. It is crucial for him to create visual art with a strong expression because his goal is to have his audiences feel the works, and remember that feeling. Like other works of art, Mr. HIRO-SHI's creations will meet their later life after undergoing a birthing process. He knows that his visual arts will eventually turn into commoditized properties but he still "strives to craft the human state of mind."
